 Web Application Developer

Reporting to the Manager of Website operations, this person will be responsible for building and maintaining web-based applications usable by internal staff and public viewers to the web site.  The successful Individual will be responsible for:

  • Modifying the CIAS website as organizational demands require
  • Development and maintenance of web based applications (written in ASP)
  • Co-ordinating with internal departments to determine their web-based needs.
  • Working independently on projects through completion.
The successful candidate must possess the following experience or skills:
  • 3-4 years ASP programming experience.
  • In depth knowledge of HTML
  • Experience with web-based databases
  • Experience with FrontPage, Dream weaver and/or other HTML editor.
  • Java and JavaScript experience

The following skills, although not required will be beneficial:

  • Experience with eCommerce based web systems
  • Macromedia Flash Development skills
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with and access to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or other design tools
  • Photography skills
The successful individual must be able to work independently on a project with no supervision but must meet strict deadlines as needed.  Time requirements for this position are a minimum of 5-6 hours per week between January and April, 3-4 hours per week between April and October and minimal requirements between October and January.  The requirements during air-show weekend are flexible but may consist of “on-call” time to ensure our systems are functioning normally during peak time.
